In this episode, we sat down with Olga González, founder, and CEO of Pietra Communications – the first gemologist-run PR agency in the world. She is also the Immediate Past President and Board Member of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA), NY Metro Chapter, and has over a decade of experience in marketing and PR. She has translated her passion for gems and jewelry into growing businesses through storytelling.

Olga fondly shared her journey from a young girl painting rocks in their backyard to her landing an internship at The Goldsmith’s Company until she started her own company in 2012. Based on her own experience, she encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to build their businesses rather than regret not trying at all. She also discussed the importance of taking care of oneself along with having a support system and mentors for personal and professional success.
